United Strengths was created by Marine veteran Scofield Grant, III and Betty Grant. It was born from a desire these two people have to help others. This husband-and-wife team realized the challenges of offering continuing help to the community alone. Providing positive avenues for children is one of their passions; however, the amount of help they provided they felt was not meeting the total need of the family.
Wanting to be able to offer a more thorough solution caused them to create United Strengths. A non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of families and individuals by offering assistance to supplement their financial need as well as breaking the generational poverty cycle by offering training, assisting people to take advantage of educational opportunities and making the community aware of opportunities for success. With a team of dedicated individuals,
United Strengths is developing a plan for GED training, HIV awareness and prevention, substance abuse counseling and treatment, housing assistance and music programs for children.
United Strengths mission is to break the generational poverty cycle in rural areas in Iberville and surrounding parishes. Our goal issue to enrich the lives of low-income individuals and families by providing resources, counseling and training.
Scofield is an accomplished saxophonist, pianist, songwriter, producer, sax in jazz ensemble, director of youth community choir and a sax/piano teacher. ScoSax, as he is called, loves to expressful with soulful groovy rhythms laced with an alto sax. With his publishing company, Forever Timeless Music, he also raps and sings. DeAnna Charett, COO
Actress, Locations Scout, Producer
DeAnna Charett started her career in the entertainment industry in 2006. She has taken acting classes with multiple instructors including Veleka Gray, Jerry Katz, Lauren Michele, Jim Gleason, Jency Hogan Griffin, Brett Duggan, Lance Nichols and TVI Studios and continues to work on her craft daily.
While acting is DeAnna’s first passion, she became interested in the action behind the scenes and wanted to learn more. DeAnna has worked with her friends in the film industry to learn sound, lighting, directing, locations scouting and some editing. DeAnna believes that for her to be a better, well-rounded actress that it’s important for her to understand the roles of the crew and to appreciate what they do to help her be a successful actress.
In 2013, Scream the TV Series was filmed in Baton Rouge and through a friend, she had the chance to work in locations and started doing locations scouting. Locations scouting has become her second passion in the film industry and has been doing locations management and scouting on small productions since 2017.
DeAnna combined her 20 years in the military and her 14 years in the film industry to start Bad Habitz Productions, LLC, a film production company that focuses on veterans. She is currently working on documentaries on veterans and the obstacles they face. In March 2021, DeAnna started Bad Habitz Organization, a 501(c)3 non-profit to train interested veterans in careers in the film industry using local film professionals as the instructors.

Robert Johnson, CEO
Director, Editor, Cinemaphotographer, Producer
Robert Johnson, Jr was born to be in the entertainment industry. His parents entered him in the school of arts where he clung to classical music, excelled in calligraphy, played the piano in several concert and became a sketch artist all by the age of 10. Robert became a singer, songwriter, music composer, poet and martial artist by the age of 14. By the age of 20, Robert had recorded the intro to a children’s tv show called “FOX ROCKS SATURDAY” and helped compose and write a song for a commercial at FOX 44 and had a song featured on the radio.
In 2010 Robert created Bound By Sound Records, LLC and by 2013 video and film was added to the company at which time the name was changed to Bound By Sound Productions, LLC (BBSP). By 2015, BBSP had become a one stop shop providing sound and film productions for clients and businesses and had filmed numerous fashion shows, celebrations, parties for VIPs, commercials, testimonials, music video and voice overs.
Robert is fascinated by the entire concept of filming from the idea to the pre-production, to the actual filming and then the challenge of editing the project to create the vision that he first imagined. Robert has worked with Tracee Dundas of New Orleans Fashion Week, filmed the City Lights Fashion Show that included Aimee and Ron Carr and has even filmed commercials for businesses such as Growing Into Elegance and The 29th Annual Cutting Edge Conference in New Orleans, La organized by Eric Cager.
